The Bose VB1 can be described as a video conferencing system with a soundbar design. The device has 6 microphones, which can emphasize active speakers and block out background noise. In this way, several people can be recorded at a conference table or in an open area (e.g. scrum meeting) without the need for complex wiring of microphones on the table or on the ceiling. The device also has integrated loudspeakers, which work together with the microphones in an echo-decoupled manner. The balanced sound characteristics of Bose can be clearly seen here. Thanks to the integrated 4K Ultra HD camera, all participants in the conference can clearly see the people. This enables a more natural-looking video conference, since the other party can better perceive facial expressions and facial expressions. BOSE signal processing (DSP)

A digital signal processor (DSP) connects and processes audio signals. In this way, different microphones can be interconnected and echo canceling (AEC) can be carried out for video conferences in live operation. Control via mechanical controller or app is also possible.
